Does building muscle the natural way last longer then using supplements?

So basically, does going to the gym and having a good workout better for you and last longer, go further for you then using supplements when you workout? Does building muscle by lifting weights and eating natural protein in foods to repair them, last longer then using synthetic supplements? Thanks!

Building muscle by weight lifting and eating balanced healthy food regularly will surely last longer than taking synthetic vitamin supplements.

Question about building muscle and supplements?

I was just wondering if there was a supplement that you only have to take once a day or before your workout.
My problem is that I am a Mechanical Engineer and I don’t know when or if i’m going to the gym. I know from reading about supplements that its a daily thing (like 2-4 tablets daily or drinking something mixed with water).

I drink protein shakes. They have lots of protein and most of them have quite a bit of added supplements. I drink Myoplex because I don’t think it has any added sugar. Or at least, not a lot (Boost has 22 grams or something).

Muscle building supplements for a 16 year old?

I currently take optimum nutricion’s 100 percent whey, but that’s it. My doctor said creatine can cause irreversible kidney damage, so that’s out of the picture. I was thinking maybe gultamine, or an amino acid supplement. What do you guys think?

I would focus on your nutrition and consume 1-2 whey shakes per day. i would hold off on the creatine for a while though:) Make sure you are consuming a high quality chemical free whey product minus the fillers and additives.
